The Schwarzwassertal, nestled between Walmendinger Horn and Hoher Ifen, is a wild and romantic nature reserve. Our snowshoe tour begins at the Auenhütte. From there, the path leads along the Schwarzwasserbach until its source area at the Schwarzwasserhütte, 1,650m. During the ascent and descent, we traverse beautiful, fairy-tale winter landscapes with frozen waterfalls and deeply snow-covered gorges. Even in snowfall, this tour is a delightful experience. A stop at the Schwarzwasserhütte rounds off the tour (not included).
Duration: approx. 5 hours

Price: € 80.00 including snowshoes and poles; avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe - if necessary
Minimum participants: from 4 persons;
Requirements: Sure-footedness, fitness for ascents of 500 to 700 m elevation gain and walking times of up to 6 hrs.
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high shoes (mountain boots) or hiking boots, winter clothing, and a backpack with some provisions. Snowshoes and poles as well as an avalanche transceiver will be provided.
