Dogs are allowed on board. In principle, all small and large dogs must be muzzled and kept on a lead.

This rule also applies on the German section of Line 1.

There are exceptions:

For dogs that are transported in a closed container. (note: transport in an open handbag is not permitted!)
For partner dogs for people with disabilities. (guide dogs, guide dogs and assistance dogs)
There is currently no transport charge for dogs on the Walserbus routes.
Muzzles in various sizes can be purchased at the municipal office in Riezlern (citizen service) and at the tourist office in Hirschegg.

public transport TAKING BICYCLES ON THE WALSERBUS

In principle, it is not possible to transport e-bikes, as it is not possible to reliably secure the load (risk of injury for passengers and liability risk for bus drivers).

Bicycles without a motor can be transported during off-peak hours (until approx. 8.00 a.m. in the morning and from approx. 7.00 p.m. in the evening). Prerequisite for transportation: Cyclists must have a transport safety device (tension belt) with them and there must be sufficient space. Wheelchairs and baby carriages always have priority.
