16) Transfer of personal data to third-party providers in connection with the provision of accommodation, experiences and goods
In connection with our activities as an agent for accommodation, experiences and goods via our platform, personal data is transferred to third-party providers with whom you make a booking or purchase. This transfer is necessary to enable the contract between you and the respective provider to be fulfilled.
16.1 Categories of data transferred
Depending on the type of service booked, the following personal data may be transferred to the respective third-party provider:
- For accommodation bookings: surname, first name, address, email address, telephone number, number of people travelling, special requests, payment information (if necessary).
- For bookings of experiences or events: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, number of participants, special requirements (e.g. allergies or health information, if relevant to the experience).
- For purchases of goods via our shop: surname, first name, delivery address, billing address, email address, telephone number, payment information (if necessary).
16.2 Purpose of data transfer
Your data will only be transferred for the purpose of contract processing and service provision in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Without this transfer, it would not be possible to fulfil the booked or purchased service.
16.3 Responsibility of the third-party provider for data processing
After your personal data has been transferred to the respective provider, the processing of this data is subject to the data protection regulations of the third-party provider. We have no influence on how these providers process the data. We therefore recommend that you read the privacy policies of the respective providers, which are linked in the corresponding terms and conditions or booking conditions.
16.4 No transfer for advertising purposes
Your personal data will not be passed on to third-party providers unless this is necessary for the booking or purchase. Data will only be passed on for advertising purposes or for other purposes with your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
