The music association “Edelweiß” Salz e.V. consists of around 30 active musicians of all ages in the main orchestra and about 40 children and young people involved in musical early education, recorder group, wind instrument preparation class, wind instrument class, and instrumental training.

In regular rehearsals, entertaining and sophisticated brass music of the intermediate level is worked on. The repertoire includes traditional marches, polkas, original compositions for symphonic wind orchestras, film music, musicals, and chart hits. In addition to rehearsals, the music association also has a variety of diverse performances. Participating in village life, playing serenades, and performing entertaining brass music at various festivals are just as much a part of the program as contributing to church events or performing concerts of various kinds.

In the 1980s, the music association visited the Kleinwalsertal and had a wonderful time there. To celebrate its 70th anniversary, it would like to revive this experience and is looking forward to a reunion!
