Our half-day tour to the Kanzelwand summit in alpine terrain is ideal for via ferrata beginners.

After an introduction to the technique, we'll climb the via ferrata through the rock and over the Burma Bridge to the summit, where a magnificent panoramic view awaits us.

When: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May to October, May 16 to November 9, 2025
Time & Meeting Point: 9:30 a.m., Kanzelwand valley station
Fitness & Equipment: Ankle-high hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, surefootedness and fitness for 5 to 6-hour hikes, sufficient water.
Important Information: Ascent approx. 300 meters, walking time approx. 2 hours, Category B via ferrata. Secured with your via ferrata set, you'll tackle exposed sections with the help of ladders, clamps, and pins. No previous via ferrata experience is required for this tour. Suitable for athletic beginners with surefootedness and a head for heights.

Price: Adults €62 | €52 for children aged 8-16 | cable car ticket not included.
