This beautiful, centrally located circular hike through the districts around Hirschegg and Mittelberg becomes an exciting hike for families thanks to the Burmi winter puzzle. Children can solve exciting puzzles along the route - making for an entertaining winter hike for the whole family. From the starting point at the Walserhaus, the circular route passes by the church in Hirschegg and descends into the Dürenbodenstraße. The route continues downstream through the Dürenboden towards Mittelberg and then climbs up towards Ahorn. From there, it goes above the state road, up into the Rohrweg with a beautiful view downstream back towards Hirschegg.

On the Rohrweg, the route passes by a reservoir, the Rohrsee. This serves as water for machine-made snow for the Heuberg ski area in winter.
