Ski tour from Schwendle to the Fiderescharte
Tour description
Everything you wish for in a ski tour: With 1000 meters of elevation the ascent is athletic and demands fitness. Far away from the ski operations, you immerse yourself in the peace of winter. Arriving at the summit offers a wonderful view into the Kleinwalsertal, to the Hoher Ifen & Schüsser (Oberstdorf Hammerspitze). And finally, you are rewarded with a great descent.
The Wildental is also popular with winter hikers in the winter. Especially on the first section up to just before the Inner Wiesalpe, a bit more consideration for the other winter sports enthusiasts is required during ascent and descent. Then there is enough space and enjoyment of nature for everyone.
Experience nature consciously stands for respectful coexistence among winter sports enthusiasts and towards nature. The described route takes into account the forest-wildlife protection areas and quiet zones designated in the Wildental.

Route description
Ascent
The ascent starts from the Schwendle bus stop/parking lot. Along the winter hiking trail "Wildental" we reach the inner Wiesalpe. From here we follow the summer hiking trail (not prepared in winter) to just before the Fluchtalp. Arriving at the Fluchtalp and the material cableway of the Fiderepass hut, we follow the summer trail (from here, it runs to the left of the material cableway). The path leads us up in several switchbacks towards the Vorderer Wildenalpe. Then it continues along the summer hiking trail up to the Fiderepass hut. The further ascent to the Fiderescharte should only be attempted under safe conditions. A short hollow leads the track up to the Fiderescharte.
