Ski tour from the Ifen car park to the Steinmandl
Tour description
The ski tour to the Steinmandl (1,982 m) is a route to the local mountain of the Schwarzwasser hut. It offers ideal ski slopes and can also be easily combined with other summits.The Schwarzwasser valley is also popular with winter hikers in winter. Especially on the first section to the Schwarzwasser hut, a little more consideration towards other winter sports enthusiasts is requested on ascent and descent. Then there is enough space and nature enjoyment for everyone.
Experience nature consciously stands for respectful coexistence among winter sports enthusiasts and towards nature. The described route takes into account the designated forest-wildlife protection areas and wildlife rest zones in the Schwarzwasser valley.

Route description
The start of the route is at the Ifen car park, which can also be conveniently reached by bus (see "Arrival"). First, we follow the forest path along the Schwarzwasser stream, following the winter hiking trail, up to the Schwarzwasser hut (refreshment option, approx. 1,620m). Over the broad east ridge, which is located just behind the hut, we ascend to the summit.
Descent
The easier descent is along the ascent track. If conditions are safe, there is also a steeper/more beautiful descent through the basins located to the left of the east ridge in the direction of ascent. After arriving at the Schwarzwasser hut, we still have to push a little out of the valley.
