Winter hiking route from Hirschegg through the Wäldele to the Auenhütte
Tour description
The hike starts in the centre of Hirschegg near the Walserhaus. At the beginning, the winter hike is shaped by the busy activity in the ski areas at Heuberg and Parsenn. Further along the Schwarzwassertalstraße, the character of the hike changes. From now on, the winter hiking trail leads through a quiet forest into the peaceful Hirschegg district of Wäldele. From there along the road, past the Bruder Klaus Chapel, back onto the prepared winter hiking trail and through a spruce forest to the Auenhütte at the Ifen valley station.
