Active recreation in nature is possible in Kleinwalsertal in a very personal and individual way - whether on a challenging tour to the next summit or a relaxing hike at medium altitudes. And sometimes all you need is a cozy vantage point to clear your head and regain your inner balance. Four NatureExperiencePlaces have been set up throughout the valley to let your mind wander, refresh yourself on warm days and enjoy the view of the Walser mountains. Fresh air, exercise in the mountains and the warm sun on your face make it easy for you to find the relaxation you are looking for.

Tour: Natural bridge - Kessellöcher (Chessellöcher) Rohrweg nature experience site
A perfect tour for warm summer days. The first highlight of the tour is not long in coming. Relax before the tour at the nature adventure site on the Kesselschwand. If you want to discover something new, we recommend the root path to the nature bridge. A detour to the Schwarzwasserbach stream is always worthwhile. The natural bridge is impressive not only because of its appearance, but also because of its idyllic and shady location. The flowing turquoise water and the shimmering green moss make this place almost mystical. The trail continues through woods and meadows along the Schwarzwasserbach stream. At the end of the forest, a magnificent view of the Hoher Ifen and the Schwarzwassertal valley awaits you. The next highlights are not far away either. Look out for the waterfall to your left, which you will notice along the path to the “Kessellöchern”. After a short climb, you will reach the road directly alongside the water. Follow the road to the Fuchsfarm, from where you can reach the well-deserved nature adventure site on the Rohrweg via a hiking trail.

Tour: the Riezler Höhenweg Schwand nature discovery site
Pleasant and rewarding walk, easy climbs and beautiful views - ideal even in bad weather. At the edge of the forest just before the entrance to Westeggtobel, the high-level trail begins on the right. A path through forest and meadows takes you to the foot of the Gehrenhang. The Schwand nature experience site is located directly on the hiking trail and next to the Schwand lift, which operates in winter. Take your time and enjoy the view from the lounger. Listen to the sounds of the birds and the rustling of the wind in the trees. A wonderful place to unwind and focus on yourself. Kneipping in the water treading pool is also good for mind and soul. After the short break, you cross the Gehrenhang slope until shortly before the Gehrentobel ravine, turn right downhill to the Zwerbach stream and along the beech forest to get back to the Walserstrasse road.

Tour: Along the Schwarzwasserbach stream NaturE experience site Kesselschwand
This beautiful and mostly sunny hiking trail leads from Innerschwende over the Höfle bridge to the spa gardens in Riezlern. From the Riezler Kurpark, the trail goes back up and through the district of Egg. The walk leads past the Kesselschwand nature experience site, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and the Heuberg region. From there, continue towards Schwarzwasserbach and down to a highlight of the circular walk, the nature bridge. Through sections of forest and past agricultural fields through the tranquil Innerschwende back to the Mahdtalhaus.
