Wildental Trail Round
Tour description
The Wildetal trail route starts with an uphill on a wide, roughly gravelled alpine trail. Past the managed meadows up to the fork shortly before Fluchtalp. From there, keep right on the trail, past a waterfall, towards Mindelheimer hut. Here the ascent becomes more technical and the path intermittently leads over slightly steeper rock ledges with rope protections. After about 400 m the rear Wildenalpe is reached, where the terrain flattens again. From the Wildenalpe keep left directly below the Ochsenköpfen and with a nice panoramic view on a flowing trail until the next fork towards Fiderepass hut. Then follows the downhill, initially over a rocky mountain trail, then over a rooty section in the forest and finally on a singletrail with switchbacks in the pasture. From Fluchtalpe, return on the already known alpine trail to the starting point of the route.
